Cup Song

I just learned the cup song!!! It takes a while to get the hang of it, now I just need to learn the lyrics. Here are some videos and my reviews of them.

Yay!

So Disney is had a free shipping sale from Tuesday to Thursday, The Disney Classic twelve inch dolls were on sale, I had ten bucks, so mom said knock yourself out!!! I bought a Rapunzel!!!! She will be a friend for Merida who if you have heard, is lonely. ;) A great review for Rapunzel here, which reviews the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 dolls convinced me I wanted her, plus, I love the movie Tangled. But, the review showed a flaw of hers that, while okay, is kind of upsetting, her hair no where NEAR the length of the 2010 version, which I probably would have enjoyed much more. But, you get what you get. That hair will be hard to manage anyway, I'm actually trying to find a way to preserve Merida's curls, gel maybe? Well, enough with my useless posts for now, maybe a better one soon?

My day at the zoo,

Today I went to the zoo!!!! I got TONS of pics, but all these pictures, and that's only half of the animals we saw!!! Alright now for some crazy creatures,

Up in the farm area, which we skipped part of, was a Barn Owl exhibit.

Continuing: Sunflower Seeds

So here is the finishing of my Sunflower Seeds project,

Here are some of the seeds!! Waiting to be put in the oven, we baked them for about 1 to 2 hours at 300 degrees.

In the end we ended up with this, a jar full of salty, nutty seeds!!! Yum yum if you ask me, Well, I don't have anything more to say about our seeds, but, bye!!!

Sunflower Seeds,

Hey everyone!! So here I am, a month later, with a new tutorial/post. So if you have read the newest post on Madness and Fun with The Dolls, little Elliot may have mentioned that I was harvesting sunflower seeds. I thought I would share how I do that. The seeds actually aren't done yet, I'll explain why later in the post, but for now,

This is one of the sunflowers, we harvested three, and these things are HUGE!! So we got a LOT of seeds, I'm trying to think of something to use in comparison to the size, um... got it! This sunflower is bigger than a basketball, and the stem was over nine feet tall and three inches around!!! That's BIG!!! See all the seeds on it? That's what we're harvesting, ;)

Here is my little brother, picking the seeds, eventually I got so fed up with picking them one by one I just picked it up, flipped it upside down, and beat the flower on the deck until they came out. Next, I took them inside, put them in a colander, and washed them under cold running water for about three minutes.

Then, we put down a layer or two of paper towels, and let them dry for about four hours.

Now we have them sitting in a big metal pot of water and half a cup of salt, they need to soak all day, and tomorrow we'll be roasting them. I'll update you (hopefully,) soon on how they turned out. Bye for now!!!
